Any solo instrument (except piano), with or without piano accompaniment. Pieces must be selected from a current ABRSM, Trinity or LCM syllabus up to and including Grade 2. This includes: Music Medals, Prep Test, Pre-Preparatory, Step 1, Step 2, Initial Grade, Grade 1 and Grade 2.
Total performance time must not exceed 3 minutes. Time to include setting up and tuning.

Note: some classes are defined as ‘18 years and under’ and ‘18 years and over. This reflects that performers age 18 might include those still at school/college and who would therefore like to perform with those in their own age groups, and those who have left school/college. Performers are encouraged to enter whichever class they feel the most comfortable with.
