Yes, you can perform as many pieces as you like, so long as the total time, including any breaks, doesn’t exceed the overall time limit for the class.
Can I enter more than one class?
Yes, you can enter as many different classes as you like. Please ensure you meet the eligibility criteria for each individual class.

I don’t live in Lichfield; can I still enter?
Absolutely! Although we are Lichfield-based, we attract entrants from outside the area. In previous years, entrants have come from as far afield as Lancashire, North Wales and Oxfordshire.
Do you hold non-competitive classes?
Yes, we hold non-competitive classes for each section. These are open classes, and amateur musicians who would like the opportunity to perform and to receive feedback, but who don’t wish to compete, are very welcome to enter.
Can I change the pieces or songs I’m performing?
You can make changes to the repertoire up until the closing date for entries. We are unable to accept repertoire changes after that date.
Do I need to bring my own accompanist?
You are, of course, very welcome to bring your own accompanist; however, you are also welcome to request the services of our excellent Festival Accompanist, for which a small charge is made per class.
Will there be an opportunity to rehearse with the accompanist?
As the programme runs to an extremely tight schedule, we aren’t normally able to accommodate rehearsals. Please make sure your score is marked up in advance, and do have a chat with the Festival Accompanist before the class begins.
